Information before you go
-Go to the Bali Treetop Adventure Park and view the island from above-
What better way to discover nature in Bali then being surrounded by it? How about by swinging from branch to branch in one of the many tall trees? If you want to check out Bali from bird's eye view then head straight to the Treetop Adventure park.
This tree park is located in Bedugul not far from Lake Bratan. It is an ideal pit stop when touring from South of Bali to Lovina beach.
Located in the Bali Botanic Gardens, also known as Kebun Raya
There are 6 types of circuits starting off with the Yellow and Green Squirrel Circuit that is designed for children from 4 till 8 years old. The little but very brave ones can safely climb up to 5 meters high.
The older and more daring can head straight to the 'Blue Dancing With Trees Circuit' where you can swing like Tarzan or Jane on the 'High Flying Swings'. The 'Red Emotion Circuit' has a maximum height of 8 meters and here you will almost feel like flying from one tree top to the other.
One of the exciting things to do with Bali with kids...
If you really want to show off then there is the 'Black Adrenaline Circuit' with a maximum height of 20 meters. This is really for the fearless brave-hearts that need the adrenaline rush and are not afraid of heights.
As you can imagine you will be secured to a life line at all times and special trained guides are there to assist you throughout the circuit that can last up to 2,5 hours. So all you have to is don't look down!
You can spend a couple of hours up in the trees...
To experience being a monkey for a couple of hours will cost USD21 for adults and 14USD for children up to 12 years. If you are with a family of two adults and two children the entrance fee will only be USD55.
Once you are back with both feet on the ground you can walk around the Bali Botanic Garden as well, where hundreds of different plant and tree species are displayed.

When I wrote the mail I never really expected a reply. I might have expected a computer generated but never a personally written one. The information you provided is invaluable, thank you so very much. I have been using your website as a bible through Bali. Through your recommendation, I will be heading to Ubud then follow the sightseeing route to the coast of Candidasa.
WOW...what an awesome website. I could only dream that there would be a website like this for all our travel destinations! You guys have done an fabulous job and now, I am sooo excited about our upcoming trip to Bali. To be honest, I wasn't quite sure Bali was the place for us considering some of the travel warnings (we are Americans). But I can tell from your experiences that the Bali people are so very kind and peaceful.
