Information before you go
Villa Patal Bali is a wonderful retreat for those who are looking for something different and want to get away from the crowded touristy places in Bali. Here you are able to experience the real Bali like it was many many years ago.
Discover an unique place to stay...
Villa Patal is located in the beautiful Sidemen Valley just outside Sidemen about 1,5 hours from the airport. This Bali private villa is a genuine Balinese house, built in the 1980s by the royal family in Sidemen.
Being built by the Balinese upper class it is a richly gold ornamented house with a truly Balinese feeling.
Beautifully decorated with a Balinese touch
It has been renovated just a few years ago to meet the modern standards. Besides the jacuzzi and a home theater with 103 inch screen the pool very well might be the most beautiful infinity pool on the island.
But these things are not what makes Villa Patal unique. What will make you breathless when you get here is the view. No pictures can describe the stunning view well enough, it is simply awe inspiring.
Soak in the gorgeous views
From your veranda
you can, and will, sit for hours and just let your thoughts drift along
while looking at Gunung Agung, the holy volcano, and the rice fields in
Villa Patal is suitable for any special occasion. Honeymooners can expect ultimate privacy but if you wish to explore Bali then this is one of the Bali holiday villas on the island that will make your visit even more unforgettable.
Travellers who are seeking an ideal place for yoga or meditation then Villa Patal has the right setting for you as hundreds of years ago hindu priests used this place for meditating too.
The Master Bedroom
You can even enjoy the view from your jacuzzi
Villa Patal has 2 bedrooms of which the master bedroom has a stunning view of Gunung Agung. From the luxurious master bathroom you have the jacuzzi which also has the magnificent view.
In the living room you can find the home theater. But if you prefer to lounge outside the villa also has a outdoor living area with a dining table.
The price USD200 per night during off-season is hard to beat considering the level of comfort and the location. Villa Patal comes with 4 staff, a cook, a maid, a gardener and a private butler.

When I wrote the mail I never really expected a reply. I might have expected a computer generated but never a personally written one. The information you provided is invaluable, thank you so very much. I have been using your website as a bible through Bali. Through your recommendation, I will be heading to Ubud then follow the sightseeing route to the coast of Candidasa.
WOW...what an awesome website. I could only dream that there would be a website like this for all our travel destinations! You guys have done an fabulous job and now, I am sooo excited about our upcoming trip to Bali. To be honest, I wasn't quite sure Bali was the place for us considering some of the travel warnings (we are Americans). But I can tell from your experiences that the Bali people are so very kind and peaceful.
